San Antonio, Texas, January 06, 2006

Ralph G. Diaz, Special Agent in Charge of the San Antonio office of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), Tommy Williams, Sheriff, Atascosa County Sheriff's Office, Jourdanton, Texas, and Gary M. Soward, Chief of Police Pleasanton Police Department, Pleasanton, Texas, announced the arrest of Donny Lance Polson, age 34, of Pleasanton, Texas. Mr. Polson was arrested without incident.

Mr. Polson was charged by a federal grand jury indictment with one count of possession of child pornography; Interstate and Foreign Transportation of materials involving child pornography.

If convicted of the charges alleged, Mr. Polson could be sentenced for up to twenty years in prison and receive a fine of up to $250,000.00.

Mr. Diaz emphasized that the charges are merely accusations and that Mr. Polson is presumed innocent until proven guilty.

Mr. Diaz wished to thank Sheriff Tommy Williams and Chief of Police Gary M. Soward, for their departments invaluable assistance in the investigation and arrest of Mr. Polson.
