The Cyber Crime Working Group consists of federal, state and local law enforcement officers in the San Antonio area who are actively involved in conducting investigations in which the Internet, computer systems, or computer networks are exploited as the principal instruments or targets of terrorist organizations, hostile government sponsored intelligence operations, or criminal activity.

Investigative efforts are focused on traditional fraud schemes that have migrated to the Internet, as well as Internet facilitated activity such as identity theft, child exploitation, copyright infringement, theft of trade secrets, and unauthorized intrusions into critical infrastructure organizations.
